To output a QR code onto the bottom of a customer receipt, you need to follow the below to be configured:

  1. Login on EPOS Manager.
  2. Navigate to POS Control and click on POS Control
  3. Search for Global Flags and click on it
  4. Select the Location.
  5. Go to Flags 3.
  6. Fill in the 'QR Code' field.

The field can be populated with text translated into a QR code on the receipt.

At the point the QR code is generated, 7 variables can be used within the translated text.

This allows for unique QR codes to be generated and to be used for things such as guest feedback etc.

Variables:

{code} = Feedback Code

{locationcode} = EPoS Location Code

{companycode} = EPoS Company Code

{poslocation} = EPoS Local PoS Location

{tracktype} = TrackType (Clerk, Table or Tab)

{tableno} = Offset of track type e.g. table number, clerk number or tab number

{billpos} = TransactionPos

Printer Text

Within POS Control | Printer Text the following QRCODE variable can be included on any of the printer lines. The value included is then translated into a QR code when printed.

{QRCODE=http://something.com }
